What to expect

Before you arrive

Please make sure you have filled in all your medical forms which are sent electronically. Please arrive without heavy makeup. Avoid exercise that morning. Please alert us if you have an allergy to wasp or bee stings.

During Treatment

Hyaluronic Acid Dermal filler can be dissolved either electively or in an emergency following a complication. You will have a consultation with our prescribing nurse who will go through your medical notes and discuss expectations and areas you would like treating. Depending on what dermal filler has been used and where the filler is being dissolved from will depend on how long the treatment takes.

Aftercare

Avoid alcohol & excessive exercise for 24hrs pre & post treatment. Stay well hydrated and keep skin clean and makeup free for 12 hours. You will be given instructions and shown how to continue massaging the area at home. The effect of the Hyaluronidase will continue to work for 7 days so a review appointment will be booked 1-2 weeks after treatment.

What Is Filler Dissolving?

If you’ve had dermal filler that hasn’t settled well — or you’re unhappy with the results — we can dissolve it using a prescription enzyme called Hyaluronidase. It breaks down hyaluronic acid (HA)-based fillers quickly and safely, giving you the option to start again or simply return to your natural look.

Whether your filler was placed incorrectly, migrated, or is simply no longer wanted — you’re in safe, understanding hands here.
